CPU Eat 'n' Cool Change Log

Follows a complete change log for each release (even private ones).

  • New: a completely new driver, more stable that allows to run CpuEnC without Administrators privileges.
  • New: support for Hyper Threading CPUs.
  • Fix: small bug fixes.

  • Fix: the temperatures readout is correct again even if MbM5 is not running.
  • Fix: if MbM5 is not installed, checking the option, the message box will not be showed again.
  • Fix: no more hangs or Blue Screen on some boxes.

  • Chg: even the Boost Factor is changed during Auto Cooling.
  • Chg: CpuEnC stops to eat resources if the target temperature is higher than the current temperature. Now you can start CpuEnC, configure it, and forget it, it will cool your CPU only if it's needed.
  • New: added a splash screen and the possibility to disable the confirmation message on exit.
  • New: added the possibility to start CpuEnC minimized in tray.
  • New: added the possibility to start CpuEnC with Windows.
  • New: there is no more Hide button. When you press the minimize button the program goes to tray.
  • New: added a file called CPUENC.INI that allows to tune the Auto Cooling algorithm (for experts).
  • Chg: added XP visual style compatibility.
  • Fix: minor bug fixes.
